 Cynthia's work has been published nationally and has received numerous awards and recognition, including: a first place 2008 Middy Award for the Cincinnati USA CVB website, a second place 2008 Middy Award for the NAACP 2008 Convention tourism campaign, a 2007 W3 silver award for her work on space513 and the OMA 2006 Visual Communications Awardıs highest Gold Award for her work with the Cincinnati Art Museum. Most recently, she was thrilled to have www.cincyusa.com, designed for Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau, selected as an official Adobe Site of the Day (1.19.2009). In addition she has been recognized with a Webby Award 2001, AIGA BoNE (Best of New England) Award 2001, as well as being a featured designer in Print Magazine's New Visual Artist Review. She was also an American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Student Medallion Winner 1998. Cynthia was a guest speaker at the AIGA Las Vegas National Conference and taught at the University of Cincinnati's DAAP Design program the 2005/2006 calendar year. Prior to starting Stanard Design Partners, she began her career in Boston eventually becoming an Art Director at Stoltze Design. She graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). |
